Google subdomain listing

Saturday, July 5th, 2008

Perhaps you have already noticed that Google has started displaying a list of links in a tabular format followed by the main domain and its description. The list contains hyper links which point to the sub domain of the primary domain.

As an example, if you search by word press in the Google Search Box, you will find the main word press listing with their prime description. Immediately after that you will find downloads, blogs, themes and many such names with hyper links.

These are either sub domains or folders, which have been made SEO friendly by using module rewrite, again aiming at virtual sub domains.

This will help the user in focusing on the items of his choice.
